Hurst Performance: I am calling you out!

Why oh why did you discontinue producing the Auto Comp Stick for our Cars? Hundreds of thousands of 5th Gen Camaros were made and you STOPPED making this shifter? You make them for the MOPAR guys, but not us? Just about very muscle car I've owned has had a Hurst shifter in it, but now you don't have one for me? Are you kidding?

Look at the number of threads started here on Camaro5 from guys looking for this shifter! Look at this ebay post that had 46 bids! It sold for $350.00 and it looked pretty beat up: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hurst-Comp-S...id%3D100282%26

Tell me that isn't market research!?!?!? What is it going to take for you guys to wake up and make this shifter again!

MAKE CAMAROS GREAT AGAIN! Build this shifter!

I found one on this forum about 2 months ago and purchased it from a member. I paid a little more for mine. I am very pleased with the looks and operation of my Hurst shifter. I had been looking for several months when I spotted this one and made sure that I purchased it quickly.

If Hurst choses to bring it back out they should take a good look at their pricing. Originally this shifter sold for $429 plate, $356 shifter. Complete unit should sell for $400.

I notice that Hurst currently makes only a shifter for the 2016 / 2017.

I wish they would make their paddle shifters again.

After contacting them, I was told that some Camaro parts were discontinued due to low demand. Yet I never saw them make any attempt to market them. Can't sell something if the target user never knew it existed. And now that there are thousands more 5th Gen Camaros on road that are affordable to more people, they stop selling parts that owners want.

Brilliant sales strategy.

I have the Hurst Comp Stick on my car......looks great....contrary to certain members a nice shifter looks good on any car. I found out they were discontinued a year ago or so.

But there a lot of 5th gens outs there that are now paid off and their owners have more disposable income for parts. I know I do.

Just because its a few years old, doesn't mean the demand for parts is decreasing. It anything, it should be increasing.

The profit is there, sitting in our wallets and waiting.

I would buy the plate if they would make it again, don't want the shifter, better shifter options out there like cfd pistol grip or the oem one. Someone should take point and see if they will make some if we get a group buy list going to show that there is a demand if they price them at a reasonable price, 600.00 dollars is way to high. So let's see if we can get a group buy group together and see what hurst says to that
