First off congrats to all those who were more on the ball than me and got their allocations right away. But, for those of us currently stuck at 1100, any thoughts on what may happen with our orders?

I assume some will be produced, but do you think all dealer allocations will? Will some get bumped to 2013's? Or will they get dropped as 2012's and we'll have to get back in line for 2013's?

I'm just curious as I'm not sure if there is a precidence for this.

My guess and this is totally non qualified is that not all will be built for 2012. It just seems to be getting late in the game to me. The up side is you get the advantage of the new things for 13.

Supposedly they can have the plant only produce ZL1's for a period which would increase the numbers, not sure if they would go that route. I would hope that would work, but I am sure there are other factors.

For those at 1100 up to 2030 or less than the number where the order has already been picked up for production will be in my best guess 2013's according to the verbage that has been released.

March 23rd is my understanding for any ZL1 orders being picked up. If it was not picked up by then, then it will be a 2013. Which is not all bad considering the upgrades. On a some what funny note, start a post to take a 2012 from someone that is crying like a baby that the 2013's are better. You can have thiers and they can have yours. That should stop anybody that is crying.
I would also think that you will be at the front of the line for a 2013.

If the Last day for MY2012 ZL1 production is 6/8 and Oshawa starts backup ~April 15, my guess would be approximately around 3600 more produced. But obviously, we'll all find out in the weeks to come. I am also crossing my fingers as well.

I was told last week that GM would be picking my order up AFTER April 1 here in Canada.........with production to start mid April and run till early june....I cant see how I will end up with 2012.....given that the plant also has to make regals, regular camaro coupes, convertibles, cadillacs and do initial impala work........

Guys I think yall will be good to go... remeber people have been moving even though production was halted... so whose to say you cant move to 3400 before mid april?
