I am at 2030 and my dealer is pretty sure I will get bumped to 2013. What I am upset about is there are several orders according to this site that are event code 3000 and are stock units not sold. Why did GM not build sold orders first? I would understand the lottery if all were sold orders but some of us ordered day one gave deposits and now are getting shafted.

I 'm new on the thread and I was stuck at 1102. Went to a dealership in Longview wa and they had a 2012 black ZL1 at MSRP at production level 3300. Said there were a lot of interest in it but no takers yet. Needless to say I put money down on it. This just goes to show you that there are still dealer ordered cars out there still unsold. After 0900 this morning I can reveal the dealers name.....

Just because an order is entered as stock does not mean it isnt sold. Mine was ordered as stock and it is sold.

Just got a call from my dealership. My order, which was placed in November, has been pushed to a 2013. They could not tell me if mine will have precedents over the new 2013 orders either. I am pretty frustrated with the whole process. I wish I would have known it was not a FIFO system. I now have to wait to find out what the 2013 MSRP will be. My sales rep said I will be their second 2013 since the guy in front of me got his pushed back to 2013 as well, so I could expect to see my car around August! Ha really?

I understand some stock orders are now sold. Did you order on day one? If so why didn't your dealer enter it as sold with you name on it, my dealer did. I had a copy of my order an order number and all this happened within the first hour of ordering.

If you had a 2012 allocation at MSRP and they move you to 2013 you should get it for invoice.

Informed this morning by my dealer that my allocation will be a 2013.

Order was placed begining of November, was his only 12' allocation, but had not come up yet, was still at 2050. Listed on the preliminary workbench order detail as SRE - Retail Sold.

As stated here I sure hope GM puts all the leftover 12' allocations to the top of the 2013 list, if not that would be a real shame.
The dealers that have not received one yet as well.

We have been waiting, and I understand things can and have happened with production. But, if someone orders one in May and gets it this summer, and my order doesnt get allocated till later I will be very disappointed in the system.

Should be some type of fairness here.

That would seem fair but not how the system works. I was given an allocation by my dealer last November but their allocation doesn't come up until the last ordering cycle. So, as of right now I have no order in the "system" Once they determine who is going to get the final allocations I will see if mine gets pulled. So even though I don't have an order in the system. So what might seem like new people getting one might just be people waiting for their allocation to come up.

What? You have an allocation and you're not even at 1100???

If so I think your dealer is pulling a fast one on you...

No, the allocations are spread out over time, my dealer got three and it was supposed to be put in in March but the QC hold stopped the ordering process. My dealer was being honest, some dealers put in orders knowing they didn't have an allocation. So the person thinks they have a car coming and then they get to this point where they are still at 1100 and they will never get past it because their dealer ordered without an allocation.
