I figured he meant RWHP numbers, I don't worry about crank it's at the wheels that gets your up and moving. Matt is doing my tuning via email, when he is done I'll take it back to where my other runs were done and compare. **EDIT Yes it is an automatic **

Matt will tell you that his dyno reads a tad lower than some other dynos out there, so that could sway the numbers a bit.

That said assuming the dyno reads out perfectly and the automatic has 20% loss (I actually feel like its may be even 21% loss), if you hit 285+ rwhp on the dyno with an auto, that means your cranking out roughly 360 at the crank.

Good luck!

Prior to Matts tunig here was my last dyno run that I was told my tune was spot on. So we will see what the numbers are in the near future after the tune. I should be doing some track runs in the next week or two also. Yes a bit lean for most of the pull. :-(

Oh...well yes there is no way in heck that an n/a V6 will see 360 HP at the wheels...i'm not delusional lol. Looks to me like you have a great chance at getting to that 280 - 285 rwhp range which is pretty damn good.

You can keep the engine cover on. I took mine off to let the heat out of the intake. I kinda like my intake painted, it's a different look when first seen.

When I look at your pictures I think of Spiderman... Or Pinhead from the Hellraiser movies :P

The hardware finally showed up yesterday for the spacers, to the test units will ship on Monday after I sit down this weekend and take some pictures, and document the install process for the instructions.

Just throwing this out here, anyone in Michigan have a dyno willing to help a guy test this. I am in northern Michigan. I don't want to make the trip to Detroit and back, but if anyone close to mid Michigan has a dyno PM me. If not, anyone in the Detroit area wants to work with me PM me as well. I don't mind paying a reasonable amount, just looking to not have to drive 6 hours to do it.

If you're looking for somewhere to dyno, try contacting Engineered Victories - they're in the Mid Michigan area. I'll be taking mine to Jakes Automotive in Sterling Heights for a dyno session when the pieces come in.

Testers! The units have shipped today... A little late I apologize, I've been out for the past 4 days w/ some medical issues. I still haven't finished the install instructions yet, but I will send you the link to them on the website most likely before you receive them, but it's a pretty straight forward install...

1" testers be warned... Installation is a pain in the butt! So much so that I hope you guys can get it without ripping your hair out, and end the end, if the 1" spacers aren't worth a damn on the dyno or don't show a big enough difference between the 1/2", I will probably junk the 1" and go with a 3/4" if that material thickness is available, or just only offer the the 1/2" if there is a decent gain. Have patience when trying to install the 1", it does help to have a second set of hands, maybe some masking tape (That's how I got them installed the first time, loosely tape the drivers side spacer to the intake with the short bolt in the back side already inserted through the intake, first gasket, and space, pull tape out once the intake w/ spacers is seated on the engine.)

I think if I could get the material in 3/4" thick, it would make the install quite a bit easier, but if the gains on the 1" are huge, the 1" will probably stick around...

Same here

Edit: Would this need a tune? I'm at 278 hp and was wondering if this would need a tune after installing this? Maybe time will tell

Got the e-mail that UPS delivered a shipment from JacFab to my house today -- I'll reach out to the performance shop and get some dyno time scheduled ASAP.
