When I bought my car the splitter was not installed. Take this with a grain of salt but the guy that installed it said it had like 40 rivets and that if you do not do it properly it can have gaps between it and the bumper and it is not correctable(is that a word?). Like I said I don't know how true it is but just some advice to those of you looking to DIY.
