Don’t forget our bumper mounted ZL1/SS Super Chiller has come with the mounting bracket and hardware since 2013

Our largest Interchiller kit 18.3" is the only chiller of this size on the market that can mount to the rear of the ZL1 crash bar without cutting into the crash bar, with stock Heat Exchanger.

Is the OEM front heat exchanger at this point doing anything much other than acting as a fluid reservoir?
Can it be eliminated for a fluid tank?

Yes I have several customers that went without a H/E. As long as you use AC 100% of the time, this makes installation EZ and more room for Chiller.

Good to know. More room for Trans and oil cooler placement. Maybe a fluid tank for a air/water intercooler for a turbo install. 🏻

Have you adapted this kit for a turbo car with a A/W cooler for anyone?

We still make the original SS kit that wont interfere with heat exchanger and trans coolers that don’t leave room for the bumper mounted Interchiller. These work fine up to 700HP and I still have that core on my GTO @ 10PSI. These are on many Maggie, Whipple, KB, Lysholm and Harrop Super Chargers. Whipped416 used this kit since 2012 and is still on the car with new owner. We used this core on every installation until I came out with the 30% larger kit and then the first 18” Xtreme Kits in 2013.

I made these brackets to relocate the SS kit when Whipped416 went to a ZL1 bumper cover so he could continue to use the same Super Chiller Kit. Chiller mounts fine farther back but the coolant reservoir has to be moved / replaced.

I have done some odd ball Turbo / Procharger installations that involved converting from air to air to air to water, no Camaros. But we recommend SD tune or the MAF has to be relocated before the Chiller core. There are also some insane intakes available that have the intercooler inside. I have been talking to one manufacture about doing some testing and more.

The GM TT V6 is a perfect candidate for this as an example.
