That's exactly what happened to mine. I'm still trying to figure out a day to bring it in.

For those of you who were asking for the photo shop file, I posted it in a new thread in the 1LE section.

What do you guys think of jacfab's bracket for the 1LE? Just got photos from him this morning. IMO, it looks good...my only concern is whether or not it'll clear the incline on my driveway here since it looks like it'll stick out another inch or past the splitter...Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1355518092.237879.jpg

I like it Ozzy. No drilling involved right? Just bolted on underneath. I suppose I should consider one because it's the law in Virginia. On the other hand, I ran my Vette without a front plate....oops!

Right, no drilling. He did say install/removal is a little harder because the splitter is in the way, but shouldn't be a big hassle for shows and track. I want to get it, but now I think I should wait to see how much clearance I've got backing down the driveway...no sense in spending $100 on something I'll scrape off in a month :( I might wind up rigging something up through the lower grille myself.

Oh, he did say he had 10 in stock now for the 1LE if any of you want to order.

I'm thinking about ordering one. Stupid California laws.

Jacfab.com or pm RcnJsn95...he's pretty fast about getting back to you with answers. Just told me that we'll lose 3/16" of clearance with it, and believe it or not that might very well be the breaking point for my driveway, after factoring in the extra length in front as well :(

More break in driving today. This thing now chirps the tires dropping into third at 70 and punching it... stock!! My LS3 Vert NEVER did that and I was puttin down about 420 to the ground!

Did a lot of small mods today to keep from thinkin too much.

Check the build thread in a few minutes for details... it gets put on the dyno tomorrow.

What's your build thread again?

I told people in the forums that my 3.73s in my '84 Z28 chirped all the time and someone came back and said that the 3.91s in the 1LE are really like 3.42s and that only 3rd and 4th are different. What-ev-er! Your results are exactly what this gearbox enables.

I drove for years with my S4 without legal front plates. Are you really going to mount a CA plate? I'm sure we could find a temporary solution for the fix it ticket then remove it again. I don't want to go through this hassle but I surely don't want a plate on the front ... as long as I can avoid it.

Hello Tram. Fantastic photo of your CRT by the water. Makes me wish i'd gone with the sun roof option. So your long tubes are installed, and your running 415 rwhp huh? I like it. Where you live in Louisiana, it's warm enough to run your sticky's all year? I have various family members all over Florida, but my job keeps me in Virginia. This cold weather gets old real quick!
