Niece on Yahoo thanks to Derek Jeter
My brother, sister-in-law and niece were at the Astros/Yankees game yesterday and Derek Jeter walked over and gave her a ball during the 7th inning. The video made it on ESPN last night and Yahoo this morning. Thanks to Jeter for being a classy guy. Baseball is going to miss him.

I guess it didn't hurt that she had a Jeter shirt on, glad it worked out for him. But it's nice to see people like that reaching out to kids. Those adults can go on the internet and buy a ball signed by him, kids can't necessarily do that yet.
