I wouldn't think it would make that much of difference only being 1K difference. I will tell you that if you are tuned at say around 7K and your daily driving in 32-4500 it will KILL your car LOL. Not really. LOL I was tuned at a shop (altitude around 7100) but I live in the 3800 range. It ran crazy hard when I picked it up, but on the drive home I down shifted from 5th to 3rd to pass someone and car went into hardcore LIMP mode. Kicked all kinds of lights and codes. Called shop immediately and ended up being the tuner forgot that I was at a way lower altitude and had not made the adjustments. Tuner called following Monday and did a remote tune through my laptop. everything since then has been fine.

cars will adjust for altitude and pressure to a certain point but can you can run into issues if it is to far outside the parameters from the tune.
