I have'nt seen a 5th Gen in the U.K. yet,so out of boredom,'ALL' American car owners acknowledge each other.

Where I live there are only a handful of Gen5's on the road. I can spot one a mile away... Still get a little excited when I see one, Even though I see mine every day. I'm a car guy.... LOL

people that don't know me sometimes think I am an ass hole, most people that know me know I am cool and really out going. People just assume things about you and I always get the comment " you are so much cooler than I thought you would be" or something like that. You can't judge a book by it's cover and just because someone doesn't smile and wave doesn't make them a bad person, heck half the time I am in wanderland when I am on the road, Tunnell vision if you will!

I think they are going to sell the Camaro in Europe early next year??? Keep an eye out for them with different taillights, and a side marker lights between the front tire and door.

Know what you mean, I will try to catch up to them without being harmful to others on the road.
What I have noticed is guys will wave and ladies will just look straight ahead.

We just traded in or Solstice for our 2LT RS and it seems all of of the Sol owners wave back, we have not had this car long enough to notice yet.

I'd say it is split 50/50 here in Orlando. I had one guy give me a quick flash of the head lights but I wasn't fast enough to get it back before I realized what it was from a distance...I was actually pissed at myself...

I have actually had more love from Vette owners here in Orlando..the Vette community seems pretty tight. I even had a vette vert C06 say he wanted to trade. At first I thought he was joking, but then he wouldn't go away..lol, I have noticed most all SS or Z28 drivers of any year model wave or go out of their way to say hey...but it seems some V6 owners (NOT ALL and not bashing the V6) got the car because it was a fad a year ago and don't give two sh--s less about any other camaro owners.

I do agree with the statement most of us have pretty damn dark tint on the Gen5 and in FL as is..

I grew up with Vettes and almost everytime got a wave or lights when passing each other. When I pass the newer Corvettes now, I rarely get a wave back. Maybe they don't realize a 67 Vette is still a Corvette. The few times I rented a Camaro, I rarely got a wave back except going and returning from the C5 Fest, there EVERYBODY waved. It was the old days again. I hope "the wave" is not dieing trend.

I don't see that many Camaro's here in CT. I do get alot of looks and smiles from others....I even got the "Corvette wave" from a C5 Corvette owner....He initiated it.

Some flash lights, some wave and grin. Others are real uptight, like being friendly's a sin.

I'm proud to belong to group A.

I was chased home by a mustang today. Some high school girl in an older v8 mustang. I noticed her like 3 cars back on on a single-lane road sliding over to see around the other cars quite a bit. When we turned onto a road that opened up into two lanes she was practically weaving trying to get around some slower cars between us. Finally she got the opportunity and a lady in a minivan cut her off - it was kind of mean.
The speed limit was changing from 30 to 45 so I popped into sport and gained some distance to clear up the congestion, and she was able to get around and and waved at me as she passed at the next light.

That was pretty fun.

Saw 2 today.

CGM - he just ignored me
Black IOM stripes - gave me a "what the hell are you doing" look. but his car looked AMAZING. I think I liked his combo more than the one on my car.
