I have run 12.0 all motor and 10.9 on a 200 shot of nitrous in the Camaro SS and 13.3 in the Silverado 400 SS.

If you have any more questions or if I can help in any way let me know.

SRT10KLLR,

Wow how time flies.... First off thanks for all the guidance above! But now it is time to get the wheels widened. I am getting an extra set of rears done next week @ Vaughn's and just wanted to dbl check with you that if I get them (factory rears) widened to 10.5 and run a 315 tire I should not have any problems or have to use spacers for everyday running around, correct?. I have no intention of lowering tire pressure, just looking for that fat rear tire look. Thanks in Advance...

I can't tell you for sure as every car is slightly different and from what I have read not all tires of the same spec are the same width. So a 315 from Toyo might be wider than a 315 from Nitto.

I can say that the 10.75" with 305 Nitto NT555R had no rubbing. The same wheel with the 315 Nitto NT05R had some ever so slight rub on only one side. I was not sure though if it was caused by the retainer holding the plastic liner that came loose causing the liner to flap around in the wind while driving or if the rubbing knocked the retainer off.

Given that info I would say to be certain use a 10.50" wheel and it should not rub since it gives it that extra margin.

No spacers or adapters would be needed if going to the 10.50" wheel also.

What tires are you going to be running?

Don't forget to swing by after you pick them up and slap them on.

VAUGHN MACHINE WIDENED WHEELS - DONE!

SRT10KLLR,

Got them done... here is the trilogy;
- Vaughn Machine widedned to 10.750 Perfect!
- 10.750 is to wide to run w/out a spacer, not perfect
- Bought an H&R 20MM spacer
- Set the wheel right on the inside edge of the car Perfect!
- Had to trim .300 off of original lug nuts for wheel cavity clearance ( I am running the stock SS wheel only widened)
- no problem with lug clearance - perfect!
- 315 Dulop Tire - Looks Sick!
* Moral to the story... It takes work to get a 315 to fit and look good at the edge and clear on the inside, but in the end it looks wicked from behind! I'll have pics up by the end of the week.

The widened SS wheels look sick. Put mine on last weekend, moved back wheels to front and had fronts widened to 10.8 with 305/35's.....they look awesome.

Told you to be certain to run 10.5" with the 315's and no spacers. Would have saved you on spacers but in the end it's all good.

Hubcentric spacers always in stock, specific for the 2010-2012 Camaro.

Do your self a favor and widen your front wheels to 10.9-11.00 for proper fit on the rear.

We have done more than 20 sets this way with no issues.

Original Rears Widened...

ADM,

I wanted to keep the deeper dish of the rear in the back ( I can tell the diff from 20ft).. I also wanted a 'just inside the wheel well look" as well. In the end Vaughn did great work on the wheels, the spacers worked out great. Installed the original rears to the front (no spacers). For me I was after more of a "Hot Rod" look than road course look. Fat in the back and not so fat in the front. All in all it was more work using the original rears but worth it.

I want Vaughn to widen some rears to 10.5" for me too, but I need them chromed afterward.
Anyone know where I should go to get this done?

Hey Copper, What tire you going to run on the back? Are you going to use spacers or not? Thanks,

315s without a spacer. I don't want to mess with spacers.
By the way, cool checkered action in your stripes!
