there are certain things that are just are not possible in the world of performance. there is no way in hell your car is making that much HP. with just a CAI, full exhaust and tune.

just take it to another shop and have them do a run or two. not a big deal. i have heard of cars being "stronger" then other cars from factory. but not 40WHP. stronger.

Dyno's are tuning tools and their numbers can be all over the place from dyno to dyno. Take it to the track and you'll get the real numbers.

I do, Im wondering if thats a good thing for performance. A lack of back pressure can be just as bad as too much.

All I have done to the car is the 1-7/8" ARH catless headers (stock h-pipe and axle back), ADM's street intake, and a tune. My tuner flat out told me he was baffled that my car made as much as it did. He hasnt seen those numbers out of cars with full exhaust systems on top of the mods I have done. He even double checked all of his parameters and what not to make sure it wasnt an error. To put icing on the cake, he showed me a graph of a maggied L99 with full exhaust that made 450 RWHP but actually made less power than mine all through the mid-range. The car feels really strong even when I drove it back to back to my 02 Z06. I really wish I had run the car on their dyno when it was stock but since I didnt, what do you guys think? How do my numbers stack up?

Looks like the dyno reads about 20 HP high so your right where you should be.

40 RWHP above stock readings for your Mods, 415-420 RWHP is where it should be on an accurate dyno.

Ted.

You can see my mods in the sig. 404rwhp is my numbers and I am within 10rwhp of just about anyone else so 440 is out there.

You could run it at the track, if you have a big trap speed that will tell you for sure.... but its probly not gonna happen.

I just talked to my tuner today. I don't want to sound completely ignorant but he said the correction factor was only 1.02? Whatever that means.

All that means is the dyno is correcting the numbers by 2% above actual measured HP and TQ.

To get back to a standard day, Air temp Humidity and altitude.

That still does not mean it is accurate.
