NT05 question

So I'm looking for new rear tires and I want to go with something with more grip then the Invo's. I really like the invos but I'm leaning towards the NT05's. My question is, can I run the NT05's on the rear wheels or do I need to run the NT05r's? This is just for street use with the occasional track day here and there. I still have lots of life left on the front but they are invo's which I plan to keep running. In the next few weeks I will at the 650rwhp level.

I have the nt05 (non R) and they do ok not so much a track tire but they do ok on the street but lack the sticky compound you want with a drag radial.

just put NT05 315/35/20 on back last night. Punched it in 2nd gear and the car took off without much slip. Better than my Goodyear supercar back there. I like so far. For track, get a extra set of rims and Drag Radials.

They are a stickier tire than the Invo. The Invo is a great street tire, but terrible for the track. The NT05 won't last as long, but you will get better grip from it than an Invo on the track. Not sure you'll notice much difference on street since it is a street tire. I run the NT555-R daily and love it.

Nitto tires rank as follows (grip level):
Invo
NT05
NT555-R
NT05-R

How to hug your camaro
Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.
