dirty looks from other camaro owners
has it happen to you??
it has happen a couple a times to me. im driving and then the other guy in the camaro just looks at me with the stare that makes it look like just want to kill me for having the same car. why do they do this. don't they understand that we live in a country of mass-production!?? i don't expect them to be friendly and try to talk to me, but at least try not to hate. im guessing these people are the one's who got the cars just to show off and think they are the coolest guys ever.

I try to wave or give a thumbs up. Some will wave back or also give a thumbs up others never turn their heads to see me.

Today I saw a guy in a CGM SS just like mine comming slowly from the opposite lane. He could barely contain himself, his smile was bigger than mine!

This morning I saw a guy in a Challenger and when I looked at him he was grinning ear to ear and giving me a BIG Thumbs up!

I get tons of respect from Challenger drivers, mostly respect from Camaro drivers, and its sad but true, very little respect from Mustang drivers. The ricers are funny tho....they wanna race anyone!

Was driving last night and at the red light up pulls a sweeeeeeeet 1990's Z28 right next to me... We both roll our windows down, and almost at the same time say, "Awesome Car"
I asked what year his was and he said 1992.... |

I haven't ran into any of these awesomely friendly camaro owners. The first guy was driving a white camaro and we were on the road so I pulled up passed him and then came back to cruise beside him and he never looked over. His car had some exterior mods atleast so maybe he was too cool to say hi to someone "stock" and the other guy, okay I feel horrible but I accidently cut him because a bus cut me off. I was trying to say that I was sorry but he drove by and without looking over gave me the peace sign or maybe it was a little wave. I get love for the car, but it hasn't been from other muscle car guys.

After 5 months I finally got a wave yesterday from a guy in a 5th gen. I was shocked since NO ONE ever waves.

The only bad experiance I've had with another Camaro owner was this past weekend out at Texas Motor Speedway. He knocked my car because I have the 18" wheels (with rims that match my SIM car!). He also mentioned my gill inserts and said they looked "bad'.
"Oh well, good thing it's not you car." Was all I could think of. But I have rubbernecked and seen others rubbernecking when passing each other on the road. |
