Stock P-Zero Life?

How long did your stock tires (P-Zeros) last you?? I might be in need of new tires soon. Seems like mine went quick, I don't do burnouts, wheel spins consider I can't really get the car to do it unless its wet out.

My car is at ~15,950 right now and the tires are shot. This seems about normal. Pirellis suck. Will be replacing mine with either a Cooper RS3-S or the Mickey Thompson SportComp.

I'm ready to get my 4th set of tires @ 21,000 miles. I don't do burnouts either, but drive the car almost exclusively in canyons. My P-Zero's lasted ~7500 miles, but you'll find people have gotten over 20K out of them. Really depends on how and where you drive...

As for the Pirelli's sucking, performance tires aren't built to last 50K miles; it's a tradeoff: performance over longevity. Though I haven't used them since the 1st set wore out, the P-Zero is actually a pretty darn good tire on the Camaro...

My p-zeros lasted 40k. They were basically slicks for the last 2k.

At 36k for the fronts (275 stock rear tires), still plenty of life left. Some spirited driving during summer months, mostly freeway otherwise. Have continental 315s on rear.

I'm almost to 19K on my first set and my rear tires will probably need to be replaced before 25K. The fronts will probably last until the rears are ready to be replaced again.

I've done exactly two burnouts (small ones), two doughnuts, and plenty of spirited starts and back roads driving.

18k on mine and they're shot. I've done a couple of burn outs but otherwise have driven pretty conservatively. Definitely going with something else.

I think you should also ask whether or not these tires are still legal to drive on or not. My tires are down to the wear markers at 15,950, not bald.

Not sure how you manage to stretch 40k out of them.

Due to rim rashing I've recently sold my factory rims with the orginal P-Zero's still mounted on them and @ 38k they still had decent amounts of tread on all four......surprisingly great condition compared to some of the pic's already posted with cords showing ...........mine actually looked like newbies........lol

I have almost 16,000 miles and all four tires look like they have about 50% tread remaining.
