It was nice actually ... the were a couple of ferraris and a few porsches, lots of old english little convertibles, many vettes and some ZL1s. The guy with the blue Shelby 350 GT couldn't have parked farther away from me if he tried.

Nice folks tho.

PS. If you guys want to meet at C&C one of these saturdays we can do a whole Camaro row down there.

I contacted Roebling Road earlier today but was disappointed to find out that they don't offer open track days. From what I gather the next nearest road course is Carolina Motorsports Park which is somewhat of a schlep, and I don't even know if they do open track days. Is there somewhere else nearby that I can track her that you guys know of?

I'm headed down to Daytona on nov 1st and 2nd to run hpde. If you want a link I'll send it your way. I try to make it to VIR, Sebring, and road Atlanta or Roebling whenever they are having an hpde or track daze event. Should be happening lots more often next year. I missed most of this one in the move from Japan.

Thanks for the kind offer on Daytona ... unfortuanetly that's a little too far away from me just to track the Z. Perhaps once I become a little more profficemt in my driving skills it will be worth a trip but for now Roebling is pretty much as far as I want to travel for a couple of hours of track time. I am booked to drive at Roebling on Nov. 21st ... hopefully I will enjoy the experience and return many more times.

But I really do appreciate it.

Big car show tomorrow, Saturday October 18th, at Citadel Mall, by Sears. the corvette club is putting on their annual Thunder car show. Registration ends at 11:30 am.

I would like to, but I think I'm gonna head down to Jacksonville to meet up with some friends from out of town. When is the next one?

I brought my car down last weekend, but before I did, I was able to sneak out for one last track day at PIRC.
