Shovel ready jobs are reeking havoc on windshields throughout the country. Only upside is that are also creating more glazier ready jobs.

Wow glad nothing happen to you. If you hate big trucks then never cross into West Texas. All trucks here and the first day i move here a rock (way smaller than yours) cracked my windshield also.

My Pop always told me not to ride in the curb lane, or ride behind anything with dual rear wheels. Or give them plenty of room, which it sounds like you were doing.
His explanation was the duallys can hold objects between the tires, and fling them without warning. He knew- he drove a dually box truck for 30 years. |

Follow him and smash his windshield on his car lmao IM KIDDING don't everyone go freaking out trying to ban me. I wish companies had a program to help replace car parts damaged by stuff they're carrying. I know people would try to just get there junk fixed but it would help some of the people that have serious damage from something like this.

On the bright side, replacing a windshield is easy. Had it hit a panel you would have had to deal with paint, replacement parts and blending.

Btw, $300 for that windshield in calgary is a hell of a price! The first year I had the car, they quoted me $900! Let me know where you go to get a new windshield. Mine is all sandblasted too.

I'd be more that happy to only pay $300, could have been a hood, fender, grille, radiator...
