By the way rob, I loooove your wheels! Anytime you wanna trade I'm ready!
Thanks! Lol I'll let you know if I'm thinking about changing the wheels out.

I will definitely up the fuelling when I pulley down. I'd go with the zl1 pump and a bap but not until next season.

That's because of our altitude. The numbers Davenport is giving you are corrected to sealevel which means they are 10% higher than you are actually making in our thinner air. Your 600 whp is closer to 545 hp at the wheels and why the stock pump is still hanging on.

They do adjust for the elevation, at least that's what they told me. The actual rwhp was way higher than 545.

Would you happen to have a video of your car running with this cam. You suggested this grind to me awhile ago. Would be nice to hear what it sounds like to go along with the numbers you posted.
Thanks

Sounds good with very few negative driving/manners issues. Peaked right at 6500 rpm with a very broad torque curve.

So is your 600 corrected or uncorrected? If they are correcting for elevation and telling you the corrected number is 600, then yes your car is really making in the 545 range at the wheels. Do you have the dyno sheet showing the sae correction used?

Specs are 223/235 .610/.620 W 1.7 ROCKER 115.0 CL. We have 94 octane but all the gas we have has ethanol in it. Shell has 91 with no ethanol so that's what I run in the tank.

I did some searching around but could find a lot of info on the GT14 cam. What are your thoughts on this cam
It all depends on size of Maggie, here are some thought on the numbers on the came shaft, smaller blower you will run into mechanical limits say a 1.9 vs 2.3 and so on.

Smaller duration cam you get the valve closed faster building better boost larger duration blower cam run risk of losing boost on a smaller blower vs larger trying to keep simple here. You need to get those valves closed.

Remember tighter lSA moves torque to lower rpm and increases maximum torque, narrow power band, builds higher cylinder pressure. A wider LSA Raises torque to higher rpm range, reduces maximum torque, but broaden the power band.

SAE is 1.14.

So that means that the hp reported on the dyno (I assume that is the 600 you say) is 14% higher than actual wheel horsepower. 600/1.14 = 526 whp that day.

Altitude sucks.
