I have both the car LS3/ L99 intake manifold setup w/ fuel rails & injectors

I also have a truck intake setup from a L92/ LY6, etc w/ rect port heads w/ injectors and rails

Both low mileage

What year Silverado are you working with?

To install a car intake, you may have to run a 07- up water pump (with angled top inlet tube) to clear the throttle body (which also depends on which one will clear pump too) This is if you are retaining the truck accessory drive setup

You will have to modifiy the upper section of cast Alternator / idler pulley bracket and buy / make a idler pulley relocation plate (again, to clear the TB, that will be mounted "lower" than compared to the truck style intake)

Here are pics of both intake setups that I have and a link to a relocation kit for idler, that I have used before

Idler relocation:

Hope this helps,
Jeff

I've got a 08 ly6 silverado, I haven't really seen many benefits yet to switching to the car intake , still doing some reading

With the 08' LY6, you already have the truck intake setup
Actually, though not as nice looking, the truck intakes are said to produce more power on the lowend, compared to the car intakes (high rise to low rise)
