Passenger Halo Discolered.. Help? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Well I got a set of RS lights and put them on my car using the harness from gen5diy, and well the right halo is a little discolered.. it's like a.. purpleish color. And my left side is a bright white.. I bought the right side on ebay (used) and the left, my friend said I can get at the dealership with his discount, brand new.. is it the headlight or my harness or something else?? Pls help, anyone else had this problem?

Probably a bad LED, we need pictures. You should always test headlights before installation, if it's not installed yet you can swap the headlight to the other side (uninstalled of course) they have the same connectors, just see how they look turned on with the left light on the right side and vice versa, if the halo stays dim on the light then obviously the problem is in the light. Time to upgrade to some RGBs or buy some LEDs, I have a set of my old LEDs but it's not too easy to install and I don't want to ship if you're not local. Lots of people here have the LEDs though, from people who upgraded to RGB.

If the lights are not the same age, their colors won't match.
