If you had some DR's on you would have beat him. If you both had DR's he would have destroyed you. Look at the trap speed difference.

With his trap speed, that's a 12.4-12.5 with a good launch.

Well at least you had a good time. Hopefully this cool weather will hold out long enough for me to get my car back and get out there for some fun.

That seems like a pretty low trap speed for your mods.

Nice runs. Good speed on that Coyote!

Bring on the mods' I recommend a good converter and DRs. You won't get faster on the same money with anything else, as long as the tune is good.

When I swapped the TC in my 95 Lightning, the driveability was pretty much shot, won't the same thing happen if I go with a higher stall on the Camaro?

IMVHO - As long as your tuner knows what they're doing, you shouldn't notice much in that way. Getting the lock-up timing is what I think is going to be critical. While a different animal - my '02 with the stock 3.23s was perfect, to me. I had a 3800-4000 stall and my lock-ups were perfect. The freeway was just fine. Around town, I stayed in "D" and shifted to "OD" on the freeway. It took the deletion of a few tranny codes before I got things perfect around town, but I LOVED it. That tranny needed a converter though...

You can probably be more conservative because of the gearing in your tranny. Since you've already had one, you already have an idea what you like. I'm just saying if you want to slay stick-cars, get as big a stall as you can stand I wasn't too far from moving into a 4400, but ended up getting rid of the car :(

FTI 3200-3600 converter and some LT headers with a good tune and drag radials could make your car run low 12's.

That's what I like about Coyotes, pulls like a motha in the high end where real men roam.
