OnStar is screwing with 2010 Chevy owners with their MyLink app - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Don't you 2010 people realize you are being duped? Do you really think that because 2010 owners started complaining on the forums, app markets and emails that they finally decided to make the MyLink app available for 2010 owners?
The app is free for 2011 users with the intention of making money of the 2010 users who feel left out. Its a business ploy and I think their strategy is brilliant. We materialistic people just fall for it. If I had a 2010 I would do the same thing and pay for the upgrade. Just because I want to be able to do everything on my mobile phone and its the next cool thing. This proves that OnStar understand their customers and know how to manipulate us.
Whoever came up with this at OnStar is really smart.

Don't forget about all those 4th gen Camaro owners... they are getting screwed too... no app for them...
and the 3rd gen guys... don't even get me started... they don't have that app either...

all those 1st and 2nd guys too... they have to buy a 2011 now too so they can use the app.

The app is cool and it would be nice to have but, I am not going to get bent because it is not available yet. When it comes out I will use it. Until then, I have better things to do.

Maybe I missed something here. But where has anyone said that havingthe OnStar app available for those who are 2010 Camaro Owners with active Onstar is going produce additional cost?

And in today's society, what is this garbage about "Oh,the HORROR, I have to wait a couple of months. I am so discriminated against?" What a crock.
