Interesting comparison (1/4 times) and thoughts

From this:
http://www.roadandtrack.com/assets/d...gmas_chart.pdf

Comparing the Jag and it's weight, HP/TQ, and gearing .. I don't think that it would be unexpected for the V8 camaro to put up similar 0-60 and 1/4 numbers. I know there are other factors, but it should be in the ballpark somewhere ..

The Jag ran a 12.6 @ 111.9mph ..

Feel free to discuss..

Hmm... I don't know about those numbers. I've said it in the past that I would be HUGELY happy to see those kinds of numbers from a rag' test but expect only to see those numbers from people who can drive REALLY well. I'm expecting something closer to the upper-12s, but hey, this would be great!!!

+1 - although I see it running those kinds of numbers with a CB, shorties, and CAI. I WANT to be wrong though

That actually makes me a LOT happier about the Camaro.

I've been looking at a 2 year old maserati and have been in awe of its "gt cruiser" stance.... but the damn things 4300 pounds WOW.

Send a message via AIM to Mr. Wyndham
I feel that "surprise" will be the most associated word with this Camaro.
