Those are some nice IOM cars. I'm curious, what's the deal with ordering one? Is there only a certain amount Chevy will make per year or what? I'm wanting to trade my '12 SS in towards one but I won't be able to afford it until next spring at least, will I be too late if I wait to order mine till then?

There going to produce as much as demand will allow. If you're waiting until next spring, you might want to wait for any major announcements during the winter. I'm quite sure you won't be left out in the cold.

Ok cool, it just kind of sounded like dealerships only got a certain quantity they could sell and that was it. I'm also waiting for the nav and my link to be regular production.

Certain dealerships will have a limited amount of allocations(meaning how many cars that GM will allow them to order per month based on their sales) available. The bigger dealerships will generally have more allocations. It's good to ask around the Dealerships in your area what their allocations they get per month and if they have a waiting list, but these are generally for the ZL1 only, that I've heard of.

Since Texas is Camaro Country, I'm sure you won't find it difficult to find a dealer that will want to earn your business. Good luck in your search and look forward to hearing how you do. I also intend to get a Camaro in the Spring.

Ok thanks for clearing that up for me. The dealership I got my SS from is o,he of the biggest and most popular in Houston so hopefully when the time comes around everything will work out. It's dangerous looking on this forum and especially at this IOM thread......lol

Yes. The IOM on the ZL1 is much faster.

Am I ever a fan of orange. Had I been able to fit in the ZL1 with my helmet on, I would have gotten one in IOM.

Here's a few pics of me and family. Took my wife and my parents for a spin it was all thumbs up, including my 83 year old mom.

I need some advice on how to reduce the size of the pics, I usually have my son due this for me but he's off on campus.
