I Absolutely would NOT get black again. Just too much work for an every day car. If I had multiple vehicles, and a garage I would consider it.

Black vehicles always look worse to the owners that spend the time washing and waxing it and know every inch of the body. But to the average person looking at your car, what looks good to them looks bad to you the owner. JMO

Once you get the process down pat....it's a snap to keep it sparkling ....I wouldn't change...everyone knows black is by far...the prettiest car color....I'm just a lil biased

I'd probably get that orange ine. What do they call it IOM?. It had orange interior inserts. Was $2k more. But if I had ut to do again I'd get that one. But man. Nothing as sharp as a cleaned black Camaro.

agreed when you don't use the right tools, like 600 gsm MF's, proper wash procedures and good polishes...if you do, you can lkeep the swirls and and marring to a minimum and get great looking depth.

Like here:

the guys with black problems are just "washing and waxing", IMO

I've owned a Black car before & I will never own another in that color. The key about detailing a Black car is what another members said "Process" meaning you can't do a simple wash, wax, and detail. It's instead a drawn out process that takes all day or an entire weekend using some of the most expensive products on the market.

I've had a few black vehicles in my day and will never buy one again. Impossible to keep clean, god awful hot in the summer, and I think black fades much quicker than any other paint.

Clear coat paint doesn't fade.
