Care for red leather seats

So just traded in for a 2012 IOM with the red interior. My black leather held up pretty well for the 3 years I had it but can anybody offer advice on this red leather? Should I look into seat covers or will the red not stain too bad? Any tips on how to care for it? Its a DD and will have ALOT of road miles on it soon. Thanks!!

Red, yellow, purple, black. All the same.

Soil will show up on lighter colors better, but the care and cleaning properties are the same.

Check out my product recommendation guide if you're curious about trying some new product. Otherwise, just keep doing what you've been doing. The plastic coated leather in modern cars is extremely easy to care for.

I use meguires leather conditioner on everything inside the car best stuff I gave found to use so far. Plastic stays nice looking for weeks on end. I'm at almost 3 weeks of doing it and still looks great.

As long as you're doing something to keep them clean and nourished, you should be good. Obviously there are better products than others but most of them will do a good job. If you want something you can get local, Walmart sells Lexol leather cleaner and conditioner.

I've been pretty geared towards Leatherique products for leather. Their two step system for restoring soiled and undesirably "shiny" leather to a new, factory matte sheen is incredible. I use their maintenance cleaner "Prestine Clean" to clean and condition my leather, and then once a year restore it with the two step system.

Not to be to picky, but I don't believe there is a red leather option.

There is IOM (ie: orange).
