Yup for sure it is. When i was in college i worked at guitar center in the summers as a manager and got to meet/play with some pretty famous people. Had drum battles with a few of the drummers and i won . Too bad i cant just quit my job and move to Nashville lol. Ehhh at least i work with some decent people. Job doesn't pay well but its a job, a lot of my friends that i graduated with are still unemployed or working retail so it could be worse lol. I've go a band up here, but we're having problems with our bass player being... for lack of better words a dick lol. He has to have everything done his way and he has no knowledge of music theory so its been annoying working with him.

I like what I do for a living but I hate the pay and I hate living in MD. My boss can be a real pain in the ass sometimes. I also get to work with my best friend and we tend to have a lot Of fun.


Sounds like you need to cut the bass player free. It is really hard to make music when 3 people are playing on the same page and the last person is doing something different.

Awe, well at least you get to work with your best friend! Thats pretty sweet lol. Yeah i agree, the problem is that he's really good friends with the guitar player and he doesnt want to cut him. Hopefully after a few more practices he'll change his mind though :P
