Yep my wife was telling me the same thing when I was pushing 240 lbs. Now I am back to 200 (6'3") she now tells me how much better I look.

OOPS.. Missed the keyword "road"..

In that case, you want the Hoosier A6 tires in a 19" - I am going with 295/30/19 Hoosier A6's. Mounting them on CCW SP16A's (again). The track set won't be polished. they will also be 10" wide for all 4, with the same offset I had custom built already. I havn't ordered the 2nd set yet.. I was planning on running the Bridgestones for the first couple of events so I can start dialing the car in with the street tires.

There are larger.. you could go with any of these, but the only one I figured out the rim size for is the 295. they are closest to my street set, although they are a shorter profile.

Hoosier A6 tires:
46935 P295/30ZR19 E 10.4" 26.1" 82.1" 10-12" 10.0" 11.5" X X
46937 P315/30ZR19 E 12.0" 26.1" 82.2" 11-12" 11.0" 12.5" X X
46940 P315/40ZR19 E 11.3" 28.9" 90.7" 11-12" 11.0" 12.9" X

MWS, I bought the SS lines from Pedders.. They were $99.00 (normally 236.00). I got the discount since I bought the suspension kit from them. you probably can get that deal as well if you ask.

You are going to absolutely *LOVE* the Upgraded suspension after it's done. It makes a world of difference!

The Auto body shop is painting the outside of the red devil tomorrow.

Monday it gets sanded with 1200 grit to prep for the stripes..
Tuesday morning I will be at the shop to help lay out the tape for the new stripes.

Mike said he was going to finish it up next week....Yea! It's going on 6 weeks at the body shop.. Ohh that's going to be a big bill!

Next week I also need to install the LPE clutch, visit the local Pedders shop to install the rest of the parts for the track kit, Install the seperate clutch reservoir, the SS brake lines, and change the brake and clutch fliud.

570 - Thanks for the tire and rim info. I know they won't be close in tire height at almost 2.5" lower profile than the stock tires but I guess that's what we have to give up to have the performance at the track. If the 20" DOT tires weren't $700 a piece

Hey 570 I think with all the paint work you are going to be driving that car a lot more than just racing. I cant help myself.....I drive it at least once a week. I guess I have to skip this Sunday at the strip but the 11th is'nt that far off.
Hey you guys that hit the strip more often...will rolling back trip the timer early? Someone mentioned this on another thread, but it dosent make much sense to me.

Speed, you WANT the shorter profile tires.. It'll be like having a gear change.

The 26.1 diameter tire (295/30/19) effectively lowers the overall rear gears to be in essence a rear gear ratio of 2.77... your car will launch quicker (and you will drop 50 LBS or so) with the 19" rims.. You will have to shift faster, but will pull harder in all gears due to the increased torque multiplication...

I have a LOT of weekends booked. I am starting to put a Calendar together of all the events I am going to attend.

There are 10 AutoX races in the series (Division 1 - NER ).
Attending at least 2 Northeast Divisional Events (most of the eastern seaboard SCCA AutoX cars attend these)
There are 4-5 major events for Road racing at NHIS (I'll probably do 2)
1-2 trips to Limerock CT. Road coarse.
At least 10 major car shows in the new england area.
Lots of little car shows..

And then Cruise nights...

Wednesday and Fridays at the local Dragstrip. It's actually a pretty decent dragstrip, 500' above sea level.. It is an IHRA national track (IHRA Fall nationals)

I plan on limiting my local street driving to test and tune trips - otherwise the local Constable will get to know me.. I am going to stick out like a sore thumb with the snazzy body mods.

I just happen to have a nice Industrial park less than 1 mile from the house with some nice big open parking lots. I am thinking I paint a 200' Circle in one of them Big parking lots at night so I can skidpad test and adjust accordingly for doing suspension adjustments.

Yup... It's going to be a GREAT summer!

MWS! How ya Dooin?
I bought the SJM line lock: http://www.sjmmanufacturing.com/cam_brk_2010.html
Yup it's in. I need to bleed the brakes, but the axles are out and several other things are apart. I am behind on my "projects" due to work and I was spending much of the cold weather month's free time on reloading and smith work.
Course next weekend I'll be visiting Knob Creek http://www.machinegunshoot.com/media_center.html#videos
And what fun that will be!

Hey Raul have you ever been to the Tower Shops in Davie on Friday nights. They get over 300 cars on average with good weather. Just a lot of cool cars hanging out from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. After you get your car, bring it up to I-595 and University Drive and let everyone get a look at the new car. PM me if you need more info.

Damn... I am missing my car. LOL

Since I can't work on the car, I have been working on the inside of the car trailer. It's all painted - Walls and floors. I am 3/4 done with the cabinets in the front. They are coming out great! Winch and Battery are mounted and working. Compartments are customized for tool box, floor jack, etc.

I should be pretty much done with the inside of the trailer after this weekend. I would like to add aluminum Diamond plate to the floor but that isn't happening right now.

I'll post pictures of it when I am done.

Paul, I have the same problem with the boost guage on my IPhone Rev2 app.
It gets its signal from the same port under the dash. I checked with my shop and he told me that the factory MAP sensor that sends the boost signal is only good up to 5 psi. So my boost just goes up to 5 psi and stops there. He said that he could change the MAP sensor to a higher range one, but then he would have to retune the car since it would throw off everything. So I'll just have to wait until I do some more mods and need a new tune anyways and I'll change it then.

LPE650 Delivery 4/1/10

Here's the last Dynojet dyno with 577 RWHP. Final tune was on the Mustang Dyno, yielded 573 RWHP and 535 RWTQ. Great weather for delivery, polished it up, put on new specialty plate, pulled out of garage to mixture of "snowball" snow flakes and dark clouds! Pulled it back in, cleared up a bit, pulled out for test drive and almost made it to Mtcwby's, only to get rained on.... no turning back to keep the car clean now! Holy crap these have serious power. Had a 2000 Firebird with a Vortec Twin Turbo (Banshee360twin on GMvsWorld.com) egg me on when driving to Mtcwby's place.... blew him away 3 times , then pulled over and talked a while. He couldn't believe I kept blowing his doors off.

Wow this car is fun to drive - lots of snakes around here today.

Last photo is the Car & Driver LPE570 featured against the 2010 Roush Stage 3 Mustang.

THANKS FOR A GREAT PRODUCT LPE
