Im not gonna get the converter, however i think the 3:73's are a must with a blown engine that comes stock with 3:27's (especially when i have a 1/8 track just 2 miles from my house; I love the smell of huge Cam's and blown engines from the backyard!!!!!! ). What's your opinion if you don't mind?

I agree with you on the rims and tires and i did choose to have LPE put on the Track Pack suspension along with Pfadt trailing arms. However im in the process now of choosing some rims and tires for this badboy and now i cant decide on them either. I would love to put some 19's on it, but i keep getting told that our rotors and calipers are too big and they wont fit without having them re-done. Any truth to that on here guy's?

I really dont want to have to change out any brake parts other than pad's so if possible can you guys point me in the right direction with some 19's that i can put 305's on.

Thanks again for everything guys!!!

Blue70ss: that flashlight is so cool!! Your sons did an outstanding job thinking that up!!
BWS, HooRah, you be safe over there!
The gear is a good choice, it will make things more fun stop light to stop light. Not the best for Bonneville but I guess you can worry about that later!
A good 1/8 mile gear would be much larger but it would make the car un-drivable on the street. Most guys who run 1/8 and quarter have 2 gear sets.
I have 18" x 11" wheels for the rear. These are CCW C10's. I had a large post on this site complete with fitment photos, weights and all the specs, but it seems to have vanished. I mistakenly posted in a grudge match thread and i think it may have gotten nuked in the past Hoo Hah.
I will repost the photos and info tonight when I get home.

Thanks again fella's!!

Windy, i did email John at CCW. I have to email right now because im in Afghanistan designing more features on my car. It's ironic because the last time i was here... i was designing the car from the factory and a local shop. Gotta have a hobby right...
Cant ever have to much when it comes to these cars!
Thanks again for all the good info
Again watch your ass, come back home safe.
When are you gunna be stateside? If your car is still in transformation we can meet up and you can burn my tires!

As you select wheels, don't forget about the difference in track front to rear. You can take a lot of push out of the car by making the front track equal to the rear track. Since you are buying wheels anyway, why not make them do more for you?
I figured a 10" rim is about a 1/2" from what the recommended range is on a 315 but there is not many choices in the NT05 in 20" other than 275 or 315. I am actually running 275's all around for the track until I can find some decent track tires in 295's. I was thinking about doing 19's for the track but I want to wait and see how much I actually track my car.

570 - Nice looking preview - can't wait to see more!!!

Uh Huh... me too! that's the only picture Mike sent of my car with the stripes applied. I asked for a pic of the Lingenfelter logo so I could see it.. That's what I got (the 1 pic). guess I should have asked for a few shots of the stripes..

I should get more pic's tonight after they clear the hood and trunk on the car (I hope). Might have to wait till tomorrow morning..

Hey Windy, How it going Buddy? They are working me to death here....figure in a couple of months I can play a little harder.
How do you like those rotors? I have mine on but performance wise they are about the same on the street. A lot lighter though...and I am sure if pushed hard they will resist fade better. Now my best guess is this fall on the rears.
Maybe Speed or 570 know more...guys?
The Mrs. get her CTSV to LPE yet?

I know RB is working on the castings for the rear rotors. That's all I got.

I installed mine.. They are not bedded in yet. I drove 25' from the trailer to the body shop front door 6 weeks ago (in the snow).

I will put them to the test this Sunday as I have my first AutoX race...!!!

He said the Nitto tire sizes run large so the 305 Nitto is about like a 315 in the Pzero. I also want to clear the fenders as I am lowering the car.
That's interesting that he said the Nitto's run large. On both our cars the 305/35/20 Nittos were actually slightly shorter than our stock Pzero's. Maybe he meant compared to other DR's. On both cars we had slightly more gap between the wheel well and tire, and my car I noticed even lowered slightly more.

Nice trailer Paul. You guy's are going to have a blast at C5fest. Wish we could go. Make sure to take pics!

570 Looking good!

The painter should be getting my parts friday, I'm still demolitioning. He said it would probably take about 2 weeks. I think they will come out cool. This guy is quite an artist! He is known in our area for custom painting motorcycles. RS and I are the same way in Ping Pong. We can probably play 20 games and each win 10! Makes it stay interesting.

305/30/19 front and rear. I run Bridgetone RE-11s. The car is ridiculous on the track. Here is a video with Paul Tracy behind the wheel.
