Getting an LS First Mods To Do?
So I decided to get the LS instead of the LT so I don't have to pay much in monthly payments. So what are the first mods I should do?
I want: 1. new wheels 2. HID halos 3. fog lights 4. black chevy symbols For wheels I really like the black ones I see on here where the spokes stick out a little, anyone know what they are called? Also what are the best HID and fog lights to get? Anything other suggestions are very welcomed. Just can't wait to get it! |

I'd start with wheels. A set of take-offs from an RS would be a great start.
I've seen a few aftermarket LED halos laid over the stock lights that look sweet!

Rs headlights with harness will be around 700-900 depending how good of a deal you get. I wish my car came with the stock 20"s. I have 22" lexanis and they are way to big. I would love a Satin black with SGM pin stripe on it.

I got an LS as well, first thing i did was window tint (:
Then I got my bowties blacked out as well as my bezels (:. Looking for some rims... found some but they aren't 18" but 20" and i'd have to get new tires..which is hella costly... hahaa Anywho... Anyone know what Ground EFX to get :P ? I like the GM one, but what's the cost of it? Fog lights I found http://www.bfxenon.com/2010_Camaro_L...-camarolsf.htm Soon to be buying (:. |

Keep checking the members for sale section. Tons of stuf for sale at very good prices. eBay is good also. I got my body kit for three hundred then I had to have it painted. Just keep looking.

RIMS sorry to say but the ls rims are the worst ones I have ever seen. They make the camaro look ugly and cheap. Go for the LT at least this way you don't have to change the rims out.

take offs from an rs or ss is the best way to go.. i paid 600 for 4 rims and tires... an then you can get them powder coated black!!!! halos from aac are awesome and can be installed in about 6 hours by yourself in the factory LS headlight housing. HIDs can be purchased and installed for around 130-150... i did all these shortly after buying my LS

Just bought mine 2 days ago, I think this is my first post here. Been a lurker for about a year. Mine's an LS as well, but the prior owner (for 3 months, 3000 miles worth) paid the dealer $1k for the stock 20's with Pzero's.
My first 'mod' will probably be window tint (legal) by a local computer-cut (or whatever you call it) shop. Looked at caliper covers, don't like any I've seen (mgp's or the plastic brembo fake's on ebay). I like the MGP's with the bowtie on them but not worth $220 to me. After those things, I'll probably save and put something under the car, like bbk long headers, high flow cats and exhaust - with CAI. Then, start paying the sob off. Thanks for the forum guys, sorry my pic is so big.. i'm stupid. |
