Not a fan of the green or tan tops on a convertible, but that's still a sweet ride. We looked at some Tahoes yesterday at Jim Ellis and they have a red coupe with black wheels. Pretty sure if I didn't go black on black that would be my choice.

Why would you not want something that gives you more power down low on the street for when someone tests you at a red-light?

I was joking that the Blower was a waste of $6500 if he could've made 500 cam only. No issues with any of the Big 3. I take that back... My A/C compressor keeps taking a crap in my DD.. It's been quite the enigma for a certain builder. Lmao Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Mti.... eh. Lol
I've been to vengeance a lot over the years... wasn't overly impressed with a few things. I would like to give josh a try. I remember him from the gafba days and his shop monkey went to lanier tech with me. |

And a cam only car isn't going to just roast the tires. You'll be able to I agree, but not going to be anything like a blown car.

That isn't meant as a dig towards Charlie because I personally have no problems with the guy, or anyone else for that matter but chasing big horsepower while throwing TORQUE to the side in these cars is a mistake. A big heavy car with a final drive ratio of 3.45 (or less in the auto's) need TORQUE first. After all, torque is the actual end result of an equation while horsepower is a hypothetical equation based off of torque. To achieve torque you need cylinder pressure, proper valve timing events that help push that piston up & down, proper chamber evacuation, etc. You cannot achieve this with a camshaft sporting 15-20 degrees of valve overlap. Cars that primarily see the street need torque to be fun, responsive street cars. A big max effort camshaft is great if your car stays on the track with a 4.11 gear and lives above 4500 rpm's it's entire life. Otherwise, giving up 10-15 peak HP for a ton more in the midrange is well worth the sacrifice for having a car that put's a smile on your face regardless if you're on or off the throttle. Anyway, enough jabbing. PM'ing you as soon as I finish up with this next guy down here..... \/ \/ Hey man, Picaso can only paint half a picture with a worn out old broken brush to start with. At any rate, I'm gonna leave your lug nuts loose next time!!!! |
