I know a classic car dealer/collector... He advised me to drive the hell out of mine, since it will never be collectable. There were too many made, and I'll not live long enough for it to ever be rare. He does however, own a white '14 Z28 and a Hot Wheels Camaro. Unless you have one of those, enjoy it as much as you can, I plan on doing just that!

My camaro is only a V6 but it is one of the rarest since only (406) 2010 SGM Edition Manual6 Camaros were made... and only 280 stayed in the US. Even with that I know the car will never be worth anything so I'm driving it into the ground lol. I put 11000 miles on it just last summer. This year since May 1st I've got over 3000 miles, little less than last year bc I live closer to work now lol. DRIVE THE CAR

The only thing I pay attention to is how fast I'm driving and how much gas is in the tank. Enjoy the car to its fullest! Drive it because it makes you happy. Sell it, if you can't bare to drive it anywhere.

I bought mine with no intention of it being my daily driver. I have a second car and a bike and I just leased a Silverado. Also, I cringe when I hear that some people drive their zl1's in the winter/snow lol. I have hopes of having this car in my garage in 30 years but that's hard to predict. So I guess to answer the question, it really depends on the circumstances and why it was purchased. Everyone will be different.

I had a friend who bought a new Mustang years back. He washed that car every other day and refused to put more than 18 miles a day on it. Looking back he regrets that now because he spent more time protecting it than driving it. Miles will matter if your planning on trading it in but then your not enjoying it. Keep it clean, keep engine clean and tuned. Use 1 can of Marvel Mystery Oil every oil change and enjoy your ride. (MMO is great stuff and will keep your internals running clean)

I totally agree with that wholeheartedly! I've got 53k in three years and she has been as far south as Key West and as far north as the motor city in Detroit on two separate occasions with the reveal and a dream cruise plus Camaro Fest in Bowling Green and I try to get in atleast 6 days of HPDE's each year.

She is my daily driver.

59,000 on my Z. Driven it from Venice Florida to Toronto Ontario and back twice. I also mod the snot out of my car and have hundreds of passes down the 1/4 mile. Had 75,000 miles on my 2010 SS when I traded it in on the Z.

This....

If I'm going to be totally honest with myself, I have less years ahead of me than I have behind me seeing as how I've already celebrated my entry into the 50 club a few years ago. So I'm going to enjoy life.
