This!
I drive mine nearly every day. I try not to go out in big storms or snow, but I have. I bought my 13 ZL1 on New Year's Eve, and I have put over 10K miles on it this year so far.

I won't say daily but it isn't a weekend warrior. So I'll say weekly... Weather normally dictates. Like riding the bike whenever possible..

My baby sits under a fleece cover waiting for the nicest of days. 1100 miles over a 2 year period, currently sitting at 4200. Fight me.

My '13 ZL1 with 1330 miles spends most of it's time indoors in a climate controlled garage. I would love to daily drive it, but I worry these cars will be expensive to maintain when daily driven when they start to reach 75k miles or more. I should break the 10k mile mark in 2050, I may be the only one left on this forum then, but that is my plan.

I bought mine new in Aug 2012 and hardly put any miles on it the first few years and never drove it to work. Last year I thought about it and decided I'm driving it more. Living in MN it sits in storage for 3-4 months because of the harsh winters. Now with weather permitting I try to drive mine to work a few times a week. Even though it's heavily modded with a manual trans it's an easy car to drive in heavy traffic. As for maintenance, it's an easy car to work on and I do it all myself.

Just turned 60,000 miles on my 2013. Driven daily and track days with it also.

63000 on my 2014 that I bought new, traded my 2011 SS for it. Been rock solid. I drive it year round on my commute around metro Atlanta where we have mild winter. ~15 mpg over the 3+ years. Other than regular maintenance, I've done 1 complete brake job (front and rear rotors and pads), I'm on the 3rd set of tires (on BFGs now, they're great for daily duty).

Need to do new struts all around.

I know it says ZL1 but I daily-ish my Z/28. Bought it the end of July with 6800 miles and it is now at almost 12000. 700 of those were from the ride home getting comfy with the car... Louisiana to SC.

Today was first time in heavy rain. Did not like it at all. It's got to be better than an SUV but it sure felt shakier.

I try not to daily mine, as I do have another car, but it's so hard not to enjoy it that I usually end up taking it to work anyway! I didn't buy a 40k car to hide it in my garage.

im condiering getting one as well which would be used for a daily, have a grand sport vette for the second car

My only concern is the MPG's i know it adds up fast and i might start to resent the car after a while

bump to the top for some new replies
