LS7 Swap
Hi,
We are planning on swapping the LS7 engine into 2010 automatic Camaro, and we are looking for parts and suppliers to do this. Main areas we are looking for vendor need help with are: -Swap related mechanical parts -Swap related electrical parts and starting point for ECU program for start of the tuning -Mild Cam kit for LS7 and possibly Cold Air Intake. We have LS7 crate motor already and were planning to use 6L80 transmission for the time being for the easier swap. We have 6L90 in case stronger transmission is needed later on. Also we have American Racing long tube headers and complete exhaust to support LS7. Thank you for reading, hrk |

Give us a call I'm pretty sure we can get you lined out. We offer a pretty wide variety of camshafts based on your goals, and even a full cnc port for the cylinder heads if you decide to port the heads while they are off. Typically LS7 engines in Z06 vettes go near 600rwhp with our heads/cam packages depending on camshaft selection & other mods!
Checkout the LS7S & LS7R camshafts we offer. I've made over 550rwhp with both camshafts in LS7 applications. |

Thanks Jason,
I'll give you a call. Woodside783, I have heard of applications where 6L80 transmission we have in Camaros has survived 600 +hp. How long, that I don't know. We also have 6L90 transmission waiting, if and when we need it but we are trying to make the swap easier by limiting the changes. |

Here are a few good links. I remember reading about the swap when the magazine came out and they went over all the parts needed to change from a dry sump to a wet sump as well as the MAP sensor change.
