Heres the original post. Anyone ever experience this?

How fast were you running when the problem occurred, did it give any warning?

Hi IrocJack,

We would be happy to check on the status of your vehicle! If you would like to send us a private message with your full contact information and name of involved dealership, we can research further for you. Thank you!

I was doing about 70 and the car just quit running, no power and the headlights went out on me. Now grant it was 3:30am so thank god there wasn't much traffic on the road.
The power came back and I was able to drive to work, it's when I was coming home it quit again on 95 but I was in the slow lane just in case.

So here is what i put on another thread from here:

Ok, car is fixed. Seems I had like 8-9 codes, but it all stemmed from the security system in the car. Seems when the car was built they stripped a bolt in the fuse block that the security system was hooked to. Must have been wiring for the security, anyway now I have to pay to 319.80 to fix this???
They repaired the car without even calling me to let me know what the problem is either.

They didn't, I was going to ask when I get there tomorrow to pick up car. But I shouldn't have to pay for this fix. They told me they worked on this for hrs and I had to pay for labor.

That's a complete warranty job. They should not be charging you 1 cent for this. And the fact that they did the work without phoning and asking for permission, I believe that is against GM policy. I have never had anything fixed on my GM's without a phone call first telling me how much it is going to cost and asking if I wanted it done. The only time they won't call you is if you give them permission right away to fix whatever is not working.

Are we talking about a OEM alarm that came from the factory with the car, or a alarm added at the dealer or by you?

Ok, the deal is my bumper to bumper is gone as of March. I'm just glad it wasn't something major.
