Over there, I doubt anyone would even know! Automatic with NPP is not even a factory option. Tough to get anything by this crowd! His car looks good, but does go against the grain for most folks.

I agree, his car looks good. He seems like a nice enough guy and probably just doesn't get it. I just don't like the false advertising - saying something is what it isn't.

I see that you are not coming from a maliciously deceptive angle . I'll try to explain my personal perspective.

Making your car look how you want it to look =

Putting 1LE in your sig, badging your car as a 1LE, posting in the poll for 1LE owners http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...=391357&page=7 post #168, etc. is telling people it is a 1LE. Genuine 1LEs are an option package, so writing "package" is doing nothing to tell forum members that it is not a 1LE. The less deceptive approach would be not to put 1LE in your car description, but list what you've done to the car as mods if you want to - 1LE splitter, hood wrap. That's what I've seen others do who have added 1LE bits to their car.

Why should I care? First, I don't like to be deceived in general, not just a car issue. Second , as a car enthusiast, I like to know that what I'm seeing is the real deal. If I see a Boss 302 on the road, I would like to have confidence that it really is a Boss 302 and not a fake. People enjoy spotting cars and finding out who/how many others have a certain car as evidenced by the threads, polls, and sub forums in Camaro5. Distorting the results is not cool. It sucks to see a car on the road or at a show and have to wonder if I really saw what I think I saw.

I'll try to stop raining on your parade now that I've got that out of my system (I think ).

The red looks good on the black. I appreciate those exploring Emblem Pros' color options. Their emblems are so good, I want more. I'm just afraid of getting carried away!
