Only time a cop has said anything was at my nephews birth day party. Faimly friend pulls up and demands the camaro owner im sitting there like OH SHIT not knowing it was him. Says nice cop magnet and checks the car out. Im lucky i haven't been pulled over (knock on wood) in it cause i will freak out it cost to much as it is to insure this thing.

LOL this is funny...i thought i was the only one but mine has a twist.

I have exhaust and seriously sounds like a old school muscle car. After getting them on i was on the freeway going home when i got pulled over. I was thinking "wait i was only going 74...WTF?" anyhow he pulled me over and said do you know how fast you were going so i said ... ummmm around 72?... then he said... well its 74 but i pulled you over cause i wanted to check out your car.

i didnt get mad or anything since he has a 67 but all in all we ended up talking for a good 15mins. then he had to say "slow down"

Now he owes me one so when i get a speeding ticket wait...... speeding ticket? what speeding ticket?

And that's what we drivers call "reaching."

A lot of people that have been drinking will try this behavior to avoid being stopped, it can backfire on them in most cases.
And a whole lot more people are just trying to get where they're going and get stopped by the gustapo thinking they have a right to hassle them.

"Papers please...."

Very true. I got pulled over one night and when the cop gets to my window he says "Oh...sorry. I thought you were someone else. We're looking for someone in the area and you seemed to match the description."

I'm thinking BS since it was dark and there was no way he could see through my back window to see who I 'resembled.'

Never call a cop "dude". That will just piss him or her off. Call them officer or something on the line of respect.

Yeah well this is Texas. You're either a dude or a chick. Unless the cop is female, I highly doubt they'd like to be called a chick.

I don't believe dude is a sign of disrespect....anywhere. You seem to have issues with it and I have met only one other person in my life who does. The rest do not.
