Question about deleting cats

I have a 2010 SS LS3 with a corsa catback and factory exhaust manifolds with cats and am looking to get a little more performance and sound out of it. The corsa sounds nice, it's just a bit too quiet for me. I don't want to do headers at the moment so I am thinking about getting the JBA high flow mid pipes with no cats like pictured below.

Will these bolt up to my factory style exhaust with no modifications and what else will I need to run these, besides a tune? Will I need any type of oxygen sensor extension harness or anything? Also, if anyone else has this setup and has a video of how it sounds I would love to hear it. Thanks.

Will bolt up fine to stock exhaust, no wire extensions necessary. Tune will get rid of the check engine light.

Why not check out Solo's high-flow cats. They are $500-$600 but people seem to get decent gains from them and they sound good. Just from what I have read on here.

Because I'm on a budget and can get the JBAs for 220 shipped.

Only downside is that running off-road pipes (meaning no cats) is illegal. So if your state checks emissions you might want hold off. Also, when I bought my JBA high flow cats I got them off another forum member for $250.

Replacing functioning cats with high flows is just as illegal due to the EPA.

Yes, but you will pass emissions inspection as they just do a visual check.

I don't have emissions inspections here in SC, so that is not an issue for me.

Many states only do OBDII hookup and no visual.

As far as the price, I can get them new for 220shipped. They are just straight flow mid pipes though, no cats. I'm sure they would cost more if they were high flow cats.

just go with the race pipes, thats what I got, and the tune deletes the cel light so you dont have to worry about emiss either. sound way better to me, more of a traditional muscle car sound, and yes you are right cats cost more to do and it will have a lesser sound
