Nice wheels JimAlan!! You didn't snag that from Friendly Chevrolet in Dallas did you? I test drove a black 2SS 1LE there a couple weeks ago, it was awesome! (if it is the same one, don't worry, I babied it!) I'm ordering mine next month, can't wait!

Bowtie is from RPI Designs. They have all carbon or carbon with matte black outline(like mine).

No, in Frisco, It arrived on Friday am, I looked at it & the ZL1 that evening. Wanted the ZL1 but unable to close the deal. Went back Sat am and left that evening after finally deciding on the 1LE.

Great choice, congrats man! I briefly considered the ZL1 as well, but I think for what you get the 1le is a MUCH better deal. IMHO the ZL1 is sick but not worth the extra $20k.

Edit: After getting called out for dissing v6's in another thread (which was NOT my intention and judging by everyone else's replies, the guy was just waay too sensitive) I want to make clear I'm not dissing ZL1's here, in case anyone thought I was somehow. Just sayin the extra scratch for it didn't make sense in my situation, and for what I want the car for. Disclaimer over.

This is probably sad to say but for that dough, and needing a back seat, I'd probably look at an M5 or S5 vs. a Camaro. Heck, even the Tesla sedan which will blow the doors off 95% of the new car market.

It's like when VW made their $80K Phaeton sedan. Didn't sell well in the USA. People's brand impression is that VW's don't cost $40K+ let alone $80K. I'm willing to buy a $40K camaro b/c of all the options and the 1LE package. But much higher than that and at $60K for the ZL1 Chevy is really forcing me to think hard about other options in the market. It's incredibly difficult to change brand image and buyer's anchor price for the brand.
