Victory Red Camaro Stripe Color - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey everyone this is my first post but I was hoping to get some of your opinions on what color stripes I should do. I have a victory red camaro V6 and am planning on getting some vinyl stripes added but am having a hard time trying to decide what color...Right now its mainly between glossy black or the CGM and since it is a v6 im gonna leave the stripes ending at the just the hood line and then have it ending over the spoiler.

So what do color do you guys think would look good? Thanks for all your opinions in advance. And I know this thread will be worthless without pics so ill be sure to post some afterwards.

Awwww c'mon...We need before AND after pics. Some of us on here can't get enough pics. By the way,my pick goes to the glossy black.

I'm definitely partial to the black glossy stripes. Here is the pics of my car with the stripes added, I will try to find some before pics. It looks much more aggressive now

White is a consideration as well.

Are you getting the GFX package? My opinion is the gloss black stripes with the GFX painted black. However, if you leave the GFX (assuming you're getting them), their argent gray color, then I'd add the CGM stripes!

No gfx, then gloss black.

You didn't say but which wheels do you have on the car?

If you have the RS package with the midnight silver finish wheels, then go with cyber gray or silver stripes. Those two colors will go better with the wheel color.

If you don't have the RS package, then go with white stripes. Classic look.

As for black stripes...they look alright on VR but they kind of just blend in too much.

You are right on the Cyber gray strips with the wheels, I went with that and I am very happy I did...

Victory red, Cyber strips!

I got the cgm, the gloss black weren't available from the factory

Wow thanks everyone for your pics and votes. I think Im gonna go with Glossy Black but every time I scroll down and see those white stripes Im back right where I started! Caverman: Thats an awesome spoiler as well. Nice Car. Rolnslo: I have the SS wheels but I decided not to go with the GFX. And for those who need some before pics...here you go.

White, but IMO just white hood spears looks better than rally stripes.

AuSStinVRCamaro Your right in getting stripes, your camaro looks naked without them. Black is a good choice, goes with the facia and tires.
