Problems with Magnetic Ride or tires?

Just recently purchased our ZL1 and am still waiting on delivery to the dealership. It was supposed to be here a couple weeks ago but then I was informed it got pulled for QC. I was then told it was released last Friday so I called the dealer to get an ETA on it and was told they pulled it again for something to do with the magnetic ride and tire problems relating to the temperature issue that has been going around. They also told me it wasn't just my car and a bunch still at the factory also got pulled for the same issue. Anyone heard anything about this or having the same problem with their order? I'm trying to figure out if my dealer is jerking me around or if this is an actual thing. I haven't seen or heard anything like this happen to anyone else yet. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.....

I'm going to guess it has to do with the temps and the Goodyear tires.

GM issued a bulletin the end of January that when the temp drops to 20 or below, the vehicle is not to be moved.

Camaros are assembled in Oshawa Canada. Temps have been in the single digits in the upper midwest these past couple weeks. I can only image how cold it's been in Oshawa.

Wow.....no other input on this? So I'm guessing no one has heard anything about this issue. My dealer must be throwing me for a loop here then.

I think hawk02 gave a probable explanation. It's been well below 20 degrees here...closer to -20. They probably don't want to risk damaging the tires taking them on and off rail cars and trailers. I know I wouldn't want my car driven around at the rail yard and down salty roads from Canada. As far as your dealers explanation...most don't seem to know much about their own business. Sad but true.
