Question for the Fbodfather or any other informed person - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I plan on attending the 24 hour Rolex Race in Daytona. I remember seeing the Pontiac G8 GT on display for the first time on the infield of the track and I was wondering when or if the Camaro would be getting a similar treatment.

I hope to walk into a local chevy dealership in april to pick up a 2LT with the RS package and it would be awesome to get a little sneak peak next weekend during the race.

Wish I knew the answer to that. I live about 20 mins away from Daytona. I can tell you this, if you are here during the Daytona 500, the Camaro will be pace car. I might get up there for that, hopefully. Still waiting to find out if I can. Hope you get to see it, g'luck!

I know the Father is busy and every one else working on the Camaro. Question? Since they moved the production to March are we able to make changes to our orders still. After seeing the pictures of the stripes I think I want to add them. and any Ideas on (which do you think is better)color CGM or black stripes for a Red jewel tintcoat??? Thanks for the time and answer??

You would still have been able to make changes even if they hadn't moved the date back. The move just means you'll get one more month (or so) than you would've had before.

Before I make my purchase... and I think this was mentioned on here before... I am leaning towards the 1LT, but definately want the 4-pack guages too! Is this a dealer installed item only or is it just not available to the 1LT and 1SS models??

Its dealer installed only for everything but the 2LT and 2SS trims.

How does this relate to the subject of this thread?
