debaged the rear (took off the red "SS")

and debadged the fenders (took off "camaro")

for those interested in taking the badges off ("CAMARO" "SS" BOWTIE ETC) use dental floss to "cut" it off then rubbing alcohol... A LOT of rubbing alcohol to get the 3M tape residue off. I'm here to tell you... I have "GOO GONE" and that doesn't work as good as the alcohol.

Just got my replacement DRL Plasma lights. I upgraded/replaced the crappy AAC p13w LEDs. I kept my receipt for these knowing AAC products tend to go bad far too often. The good news is they have a lifetime replacement warranty.....(if you are smart enough to save the receipt).

Below are pics of the stock bulbs (cuz I had to put those back in when I sent the messed up LEDs back for warranty) compared to the plasma.

one thing to note.... the crappy LED from AAC is actually a much better brightness and color match for the HID/HALO lamps. The stock bulb is too yellow and dim and the plasma is too bright and blue. (but... the AAC LED p13 will only last you a couple of months before you have to send it in for replacement because parts of it are going out.)

and before you ask... yes, I use the fieldgoal harness so it's suppose to help the LEDs/plasmas last longer because of some fancy smancy electrician stuff.

Returned from an "at sea" week to the delivery of the LED sidemarkers.

Paint quality could have been better and one of the lights LED's could be a little straighter... but... I'll save the overall judgement for after installation.

Lovely wife wants to visit happy hour this evening so this will be my project in the morning! Here are the PRE-PICS....

I think once these are in the only factory lights remaining will be the halo headlamps! LOL (trunk light, dome light, side markers, DRL, license plate lights, tail lamps..... ALL CHANGED OUT!)
