My window leaks! Does yours??

Wife took 2010 Synergy green Camaro to the dealer because the pass window leaks every time she takes it to the car wash. Tech said it was not leaking when he ran a garden hose on it. She took it to an automatic car wash next door with the tech & it leaked.

The service manager told her that there was not a car on the lot that wouldn't leak at a car wash. What?? I mean she doesn't hold the wand right against the window. Never had a car that did this.

They finally ordered a new weather strip for it, I am not sure if its the strip or the window. We will see when it comes in.

Has anybody else had a leaking window?? Or do all of the Camaros do this?

Thanks,

Nope. No leaks. Goes through a brushless car wash on a regular basis. They even show testing for leaks on "Ultimate Factories". Tell your dealer he is dead wrong!

No leaks at all. My 2004 Sebring leaked like crazy in the car wash, no big deal though bring an extra towel along.

No leaks, but you should highly consider washing the car yourself. I've NEVER gone through a car wash before to save myself from any swirls, scratches, etc.

Even a touchless / brushless as he stated? I use the self serve bays all the time with just the wand. Some even have a foam wand now.

The service manager said every car would leak in a car wash? He actually said that? Wow. What an ignorant moron.

The only thing touching my paint is water. Never, ever go through a car wash with brushes or those floppy things. They hold dirt and scratch the paint.

So far no leaks. My Camaro is my daily driver, so I'll run it through a soft cloth car wash and no problems with leaks at all.
