My dealer called me last night when he heard about he restraint and the park assist. Good to know he is on top of his game and letting me know. I am set to get pulled next week, so hopefully it doesn't get backed up a whole lot from the original timing. He sits here crossing his fingers and his toes hoping it all goes quickly.

Does anyone know if that high wing spoiler is going to be standard on the SS or an option? I'm hoping an option because it's not to my tastes, but when I go onto the build a camaro site (the one on chevy.com, not the camaro microsite), the SS appears with the high wing installed and makes no mention of it whatsoever (as far as I can tell anyway)...

I put my order in with the dealership last weekend:
2LT/RS/Automatic/Stripes/Ground Effects

I won't be affected, correct?

And I thought I heard the new backup sensor feature would be included on the SS models as well as the 2LT. Is that true or not the case?

I ordered my 2SS on Monday with the dealer and today they said the order couldn't be put in. If GM is still taking orders and it will just take longer, why would it not let him put the order in?

wow...i'm glad I already had a TPW of 9/7, and I think your good USA-1, but your car will not have the assist, it cannot be 2000 or over..essentially it has to NOT have been pulled b y GM.

So.... I ordered my 2SS on the 21st and it's in an 1100 status... does that mean it's going to stay that way for God knows how long and it could be potentially 5 months till i get my car, and this is just cause the V6 model isn't selling?

Or........ more likely the reason that the Govy's have their grubby hands on this whole thing somewhere, because it sure reek's of their stupidity right about now!

Yah, seriously, I hate the high wing spoiler. Any official info on this being an option or standard. Did I miss something?

Well, I guess I'll see how it effects me. I am hoping to be in the system today, 2000 and would then typically move to 3000 next week to get a TPW. Hopefully it doesn't push things back to far.
