Scrmng was the reason I ended up with my set-up too.
Take a listen to these. I installed my own MRT 2.0. Then took it to the people who built it and had them weld it on. I have had many members on this and other Forums say this is one of the best sounding systems they have heard and by far the best sounding MRT 2.0 system. Take a listen for yourself. Listen to these thru some headphones or ear buds. Here is a few videos for you: This one is from inside my Camaro on the way to the dragstrip. This one is from inside my Camaro while at the dragstrip. Sorry about the Camera tipping. This one is one that SCRMNG filmed for me while we were at the dragstrip. the last 30 seconds is me on a single pass. This last clip is one that danrc28 put together when visiting me to her a MRT 2.0 system. He went from Toronto to Florida and back stopping along the way picking up sound bytes. The video starts off with outside rev's, then an on ramp full throttle run, then an acceleration run from inside while talking about drone. Tape finishes with me passing the camera on the highway doing 3rd gear runs. Which has not been recorded by anyone else using the MRT (or at least I am not aware of anyone with this type of recording.) (rcat's)

Congratulations on the purchase! Personally, I think the cold air intake adds a lot of richness to the note of any exhaust you put on there.
The MRT 2.0 comes highly recommended by a lot of people on the forums. I went for the Doug Thorley cat-back since it was incredibly inexpensive for a full 2.5" cat-back exhaust and, combined with the Doug Thorley shorties, it makes for a smooth sound without much raspiness throughout the power band.

LOL, is that you vs. SCRMNG at 1:34 and 2:00 on your dragstrip vid? Fun times.

Yes, we ran against each other on those two passes. He gave his camera to another friend to film the two of us. All the rest of his film was done by him.

Anyone know what size tips the MRT comes welded with? Im thinking of cutting them off and putting on dual tips and going to quads but need to know what size to order. Any tips on where to order them from?

Small question about Injen Power Flow CAI.
My filter was dry (No oil). Should I sink it to some oil? I mean what use of "oil catch can/systems" if you have dry filter? |
