sorry for an almost repost, didnt know where else to put this...

anyway, whats you guys opinions on painted stripes verses the vinyl ones the factory or dealer puts on... i think the painted ones look better, and if your getting the vinyl ones, are you afraid that they will eventually start peeling one day, fade, or bubble up?

i ordered a 2ss/rs rjt and im debating if i should get black aftermarket painted stripes or vinyl from the dealer

I don't mind these threads.. It is a legitimate question.. I would definately go painted when you can afford it.. The vinyl stripes won't last forever and can have other issues arise making them look bad in time.. I plan on keeping my car for a long time, so painted is the only option for me.. I will be keeping mine because I fear that it may be the last of its kind, and I don't want to be forced into driving the car below..

haha thats a funny picture... but anyway, what kind of painted stripes are you getting? same as the factory ones? wider ones? thinner ones? bumper to bumper? and what about that thin outside border to them?
