with a tune and long enough straight road it is possible, but improbable.

Modified Yes I have been up to if I recall 184 in a members HPE 700 and he still had more to go.

Not 100% sure and I am not sure if the top speed on the ZL1 is computer limited like the V6 and SS cars are.

We're limited to 184 lol. Kind of a pointless limiter to be honest. You can't go 185+, but 184 is ok., at least that's what I think it said somewhere was 184.

I agree it would be improbable considering the fact that you not only need a straightaway long enough to achieve 200 MPH you also have to have enough road left to STOP the car.

How much yards or feet do you estimate you'll need to hit 200 and slow down safely?

I don't think we are limited at 184. I think that's where we run out of HP to go any faster. Lingenfelter has a video on there website of their 200mph ZL1 run.

Yeah. I'm pretty sure that we're limited on speed due to HP & aerodynamics.

Not happening without engine upgrades. Let's just say I have wanted to see 200 on the speedo for many years and made many attempts before I got there. The stock car has too much drag over 180 to continue to accelerate at a reasonable rate. After you hit the redline in 5th there is not much acceleration at all. If you watch the Hennesey video they hit terminal velocity at 203.9 with a manual and more than 120 hp over stock.

I had to get 800 whp before I saw it.
