Borla S-type vs. Magnaflow 3" Catback
Sooooo I'm a mess
I've been set on the Magnaflow 16483, but am rethinking it and am beginning to really like the Borla S-type catback as the 16483 seems a little too muffled at idle. Been watching lots of videos, but need people's opinions as to what I can expect out of the difference and type of sound from each…I'm going for a quality low-tone. Keep in mind this will be combined with 1 ⅞" LT's and hi-flow cats. |

I think that the Borla S-Type sounds plain bad azz with headers. Nice and deep but not too loud. That would be the winner for me if was gonna do it again.

I'll say that I've heard the Borla-S with headers side by side with my Magnaflow with headers and I thought the sounded really, really close to the same. I would give the win to Borla being ever so slightly louder but I don't think you would notice unless they were side by side.
From what I remember though, Borla is a bit more expensive. So, in that respect I would go Maganaflow.

borla , magnaflow , flowmaster , MPRP all of them gives deep tone , if u didn't like the deep go for corsa ..
but don't change ur magna untel u install the headers , i'm sure u gonna love the sound combo.. some catback good without headers like corsa LS3 because it's too load and some must be with headers like magnaflow
