Detailer's Bar

There's a pretty solid group of us that have gotten to know one another pretty well on here. Figured I'd make a dedicated place for us to hang out and talk about other stuff; drinks, girls, cigars, guns, Roshan's drunk texts-- whatever it is you're into.

That being said, have at it

Yeah whatever we want. That's the whole point. That way we can keep our threads more on topic and do our bullshitting here in one collective place.

I'm not as good as you guys as a detailer but I think I'm pretty damn good. I need to open up and learn about more products though.

Post up any questions you have! Someone around here is bound to have an answer, or an opinion at least.

Exactly. I need to learn more about different products, and techniques.

Those were classic. Been there more than a few times myself.

I recently picked up some V7 optical select detailing spray/sealant. Wow, it is good stuff. Spray on easy to apply, glides on smooth, and provides some serious high gloss. It levels and dries very fast - almost evaporates. The sealant factor is a bonus.

I just picked this up with blacklight, supposedly an awesome combo.

Also if anyone didn't know Chemical Guys pricing is real cheap on Amazon, you can sign up for subscribe and save so it orders it every 6 months, or whatever you select, and saves you 5% on top of already cheap prices. I will order things, as soon as it ships, cancel the subscription so you dont forget about it.

Definitely an awesome combo. About the only things from CG that have been worth a crap in my book.
